Spencerville Adventist Academy recently held a special graduation service for class president Chantelle Rodriguez so that her mom, Coraline Patterson, who was dying from cancer, could be there. The 2016 senior class attended the moving service.
“It was a beautiful celebration as we highlighted this milestone in Chantelle’s life. Chantelle was so brave and strong. She gave her president’s speech with courage and passion,” said Brian Kittleson, principal. “I spoke with Coraline and listened to her speak about one word—trust. She had total trust and faith in God."
Coraline Patterson, 40, lost her long battle with cancer Monday, May 16. Please keep Chantelle and her stepdad Bryan Patterson, and their loved ones and friends, in prayer as they mourn their loss.
