At the Willow Brook church in Boonsboro, Md., the Revelation Speaks Peace prophecy seminar ended with four attendees baptized and two who became Seventh-day Adventists through profession of faith. The congregation welcomed new members Roger and Judy Huntzberry, husband and wife, and Jim and Carl Dunbar, a father and son who were away from God and His church for more than 20 years, says Volodymyr Grinchenko, pastor at Willow Brook. They were excited to come back and join the church family, he says.

“Another couple, Richard and Cinthy Paradise, come from non-Adventist background and were amazed to learn the Bible truths and made a firm decision to be a part of God’s last day movement.”

During the Thanksgiving and Christmas season the church selected two nearby elementary schools, Greenbrier E. S. and Boonsboro E. S., and served their families and students. Members donated food to fill eight large bins and boxes to help eight families in need from the Greenbrier Elementary School. Families were very grateful to receive it, says Ginchenko. The school counselor sent the church this message "One of the moms was in tears when she saw it. She is disabled and said her food stamps were not coming for two more weeks. This was such a big help for so many.” Congregants also donated school supplies and gifts for students and teachers.
