Tim Soper pays tribute to his parents, his brother, his wife, Amy, and their daughters, Hannah and Grace, for their positive influence in his life.

Tim Soper, chaplain and religion teacher at Spencerville Adventist Academy (SAA), was ordained to the gospel ministry on a recent Sabbath afternoon at Spencerville church in Silver Spring, Md. In his homily, Rick Remmers, Chesapeake Conference president, said, “Tim, I encourage you to remember that Jesus himself called you. He will equip you, He will empower you.”

Soper addressed the congregation—his family, friends and supporters—and said, “In every step of my life God has seen fit to demonstrate his love in my life through you.”
