Gregg Cain, MDiv, recently accepted the invitation of the Highland View Academy (HVA) Board of Trustees to be the academy’s new principal, beginning July 1.
“Gregg Cainbrings the combined strength of an education and pastoral background,” says conference president Rick Remmers. “His experience in secondary education administration will be a strong asset in our ongoing pursuit of the higheststandards on all levels at Highland View Academy.”
Cain comes from Forest Lake Academy in Florida where for six years he was vice-principal for Student Services. In addition to experience teaching at the elementary,high school and college levels, he served as a youth pastor for 10 years and as an athletic director for summer softball and baseball leagues. He is also certified in educational coaching for the purpose of administrative and staff team building in an educational setting.
He and his wife, Krista, who owns a procurement company, are excited about this new venture at HVA.
"I look forward to serving the needs of students and families alike as our HVAteam work together to continue it's long-standing commitment to academic excellence,” he says.
The couple has three adult children—Kristie, Maura and Michael
