Marco Faria was installed as pastor of the Capital Brazilian Temple church in Highland, Maryland on May 15. The installation took place during the Sabbath worship service and was officiated by Eduardo Munoz, treasurer for Chesapeake Conference.
Faria recently graduated from the Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University (Berrien Springs, Mi.). Faria is originally from Brazil where he previously served as a pastor in the Rio De Janeiro Conference.
“My family and I are very glad for the opportunity to be part of the Brazilian Capital Temple church,” says Faria. “It is our goal to serve Lord and His children helping them to love, obey, and serve Him in the best way possible. I feel very confident that by God’s grace and power we will able to advance His kingdom in our area.”
Faria is joined in ministry with his wife, Ingrid, and their two children, Martin and Lauren.
