Members from the Triadelphia church (Clarksville, Md.) distributed church fliers to more than 1,000 people while participating in the Clarksville Fourth of July parade this past Sunday. The church distributed paper fans containing contact information, Sabbath service times and a Bible study website while parading along a float decorated by the church.
“The fans were positively received, especially as the day got warmer,” says Samuel Nunez, pastor of the Triadelphia church.
Church members dressed in red, white and blue outfits and performed live renditions of well-known American songs while they processed along the two-and-a-half-mile parade route.
“This is a tradition that goes back several years,” says Nunez. “It was a great opportunity to work together, meet our neighbors and celebrate our freedom.”
