Pavel Goia - Featured Speaker

Pavel Goia pursued careers in engineering, private business, and law, before finally settling into his calling as a minister. After years of pastoring in Romania and the United States, he is now the Editor for Ministry Magazine at the GC, and Assoc. Director for Ministerial as well as a doctoral candidate at AU. His life has been filled with powerful answers to prayer and continues to be one miracle after another.


Dwight Nelson - Featured Speaker

Dwight Nelson has served as lead pastor of the Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andrews University since 1983. He preaches on the “New Perceptions” telecast, teaches at the theological seminary and has written some books, including The Chosen. He and his wife Karen are blessed with two married children and a one year old granddaughter.



Karla Rivera - Featured Musician

Karla Rivera graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University), and completed her Master’s degree from the University of Maryland. She is part of the Livefor1 Ministry in efforts to use music to raise awareness of the plight of the Syrian Refugees. Karla has toured throughout the world as soprano soloist with the New England Youth Ensemble, Pro Musica and Columbia Collegiate Chorale, all of Washington Adventist University.  She has debuted and performed operas as well as oratorios, some of which have been on the stages of Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center.

 David Hartman - Winning Ways to Witness

Dr. David Hartman


Every believer can witness in his or her own "armor" by exercising seven unique witnessing styles: prayer, friendship, service, testimony, invitation, conversation, and proclamation. In this seminar learn how these witnessing styles integrate with the unique faith journeys of others, in order to nudge them closer to Christ. 

David Hartman is an Associate Professor in the School of Religion at Southern Adventist University. He teaches classes on Christian Witnessing, Christian Spirituality, and Christian Beliefs. Prior to teaching at Southern, Dr. Hartman served for 34 years as a pastor and conference administrator in the Gulf States Conference and Kentucky-Tennessee Conference. He has a passion for winning people to Christ and training members to do the same.

  DeLois Weekes - Improving Your Health

Dr. DeLois Weekes In today’s world it is virtually impossible to avoid stress. Almost everyone is carrying some amount of it in varying degrees. Additionally, genetics and lifestyle play an important role in overall wellness. These sessions will examine relevant health topics including: stress, diabetes, mental illness and boosting the immune system. 

Weekes received her PhD in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco School of Nursing. She is currently a registered nurse and a speaker for Women’s Ministries and facilitates strategic planning, stress reduction and health related workshops and seminars. Dr. Weekes presents lectures on health and wellness topics for both church and secular organizations.

In this seminar you will learn how to be intentional about your family lifestyle and reach new levels of fulfillment. Learn family practices that will enable you to have a spiritual legacy that outlasts you. 

Eli Rojas serves as Ministerial, Family Ministry, and Men’s Ministry Director for the Chesapeake Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Eli is passionate about family related issues. He holds several marriage enrichment events each year and has led family seminars in the US and internationally. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Andrews University for church growth and evangelism using family ministry as the instrument for the church to share the Gospel.

  Ekkehardt Mueller - The Book of Revelation

Dr. Ekkehardt Mueller This seminar alerts the hearer to important aspects of Revelation including worship, the occult and how to live in the last days. It will be an eye-opening journey through the Apocalypse. While there is cosmic conflict, Revelation helps us to understand who Jesus is and how to overcome. 

Ekkehardt Mueller is a native of Germany and worked as a pastor for sixteen years before being elected ministerial secretary and director of the education department of the South German Union. In 1997 he accepted the call to come to the Biblical Research Institute of the General Conference where he serves as associate director. He has written numerous articles and several books, taught in many places around the globe, and holds Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) and Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) degrees from Andrews University.

Subodh Pandit - Come Search With Me

Dr. Subodh Pandit Many non-Christians in our communities have varying world views, all requiring different evangelistic approaches. This workshop will equip you with tools to have a Spirit-led dialogue with atheists, agnostics, evolutionists, and others.

Subodh Pandit was born and brought up in India. After medical school, he embarked on an intellectual journey of inquiry, lasting decades, that took him through the questions of the existence of God, Evolution, Relativism, Pluralism and the challenge of understanding the great world religions. He organized his findings into a seminar, which he takes, mainly to secular university campuses, around the world. He has authored a two-book set, appeared on 3ABN and radio programs, and the director of Search Seminars International.

Pavel Goia - How to Improve Your Prayer Life

Pavel Goia knew at young age that God had called him to ministry. Being born and raised in communist Romania didn’t make following that calling an easy task. After short drifting during his teenage years, his life took a proverbial turn and he promised to serve God and fulfill his original calling. The events that ensued are chronicled by the book One Miracle After Another: The Pavel Goia Story, by Gregg Budd.
