Highland View Academy’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) lecture series closes the season with a final lecture on Tuesday, May 10, from 7-8 p.m., in the school library. The topic this month is “The Future of Water: the status, threats and prospects of a fundamental element of human life.” Jason Brooks, senior advisor for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene at Adventist Development and Relief Agency International (ADRA), is the speaker. Brooks travels the world advising rural communities and national governments on how to sustainably manage water resources and sanitation for better health.
