Chesapeake Conference churches added 545 new members in 2022 through baptism or profession of faith.
Over the course of the past few months, the Chesapeake Conference held four town hall meetings in each region of the conference. President Rick Remmers, along with Jerry Lutz, executive secretary, and Eduardo Munoz, treasurer, informed members of progress and development in various areas of the conference including evangelism, church planting, education, youth and young adult ministry, and more.
Elder Remmers shared an update on each of the conference departments as well as reaffirming the mission and vision for the future. Remmers also explained how the role of the conference is to support churches and schools through trainings, staff, subsidies, and more. Additionally, updated statistics and financial reports were shared.
“There is a message of love that Jesus has given to us to share with the world. We are witnesses to who Jesus is and He tells us to go,” says Remmers.
