Babawale Adepoju Joins Reisterstown

Pastor Adepoju will serve as pastor of the Reisterstown church and associate pastor of the Pikesville church.

Babawale Adepoju was installed as the new pastor of the Reisterstown (Md.) church on Sept. 4, filling the vacancy created by Van Sailo’s retirement in July. Adepoju will also serve as the associate pastor of the Pikesville (Md.) church.

“The leadership is excited to have a young pastor leading them,” says Eli Rojas, ministerial director for Chesapeake Conference. “Pastor Babawale has experience working with youth in the church and the community. One of the leaders expressed her excitement about the possibilities of the Reisterstown SDA Church reviving their youth programs.”

Adepoju brings several years of pastoral ministry experience to the Reisterstown church, most recently serving as pastor of the Prince Emmanuel All Nations church in Bowie, Md.

“I am excited about the opportunities for growth,” says Adepoju. “I look forward to galvanizing the younger members for active ministry in the community.”
