Babawale Adepoju Ordained to the Gospel Ministry
Adepoju serves as the lead pastor of the Pikesville and Reisterstown churches.

Babawale “Wale” Adepoju, lead pastor of the Pikesville (Md.) and Reisterstown (Md.) churches, was ordained to the gospel ministry during a special ordination service held at the Pikesville church on Oct. 21.
Adepoju is a graduate of Oakwood University (Huntsville, Ala.) and holds a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Andrews University (Berrien Springs, Mich.). Recognizing the importance of self-awareness and emotional intelligence in his ministry, Adepoju has also completed four Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) units.
Adepoju previously served as the pastor of the Prince Emmanual All Nations (Bowie, Md.) church.
“We are so very thankful that the Lord has seen fit to call Babawale Adepoju to ministry and we are grateful that [Adepoju] has answered the call,” said Jerry Lutz, Chesapeake Conference president, during the opening remarks of the ordination sermon.
Adepoju has an undeniable passion for serving others. He said he wants to be remembered as someone who genuinely loved and supported others. His ultimate goal is to help people grow authentically and organically in their relationship with Christ.
Adepoju is joined in ministry by his wife, Candace, and together, they enjoy spending time with their dog, Rocko.
