Blythedale Church continues “barrel” mission project to Africa

The church sent donated ministry resources to an Adventist church in Kenya.

Blythedale Church in Perryville, Md., continued its “barrel” mission project for another year. The Bondo Central Church in Kenya recently received a barrel sent from Blythedale members filled with ministry books, CDs, DVDs, and children’s materials. The donation aims to establish a local church library, enabling the church members to utilize these resources for personal outreach.

The barrel ministry has been an ongoing mission project of Blythedale Church for several years. Church members have generously donated or purchased materials, and some items were given from the church library. Each barrel Blythedale Church sends is destined for different churches across Kenya, providing ministry materials for church libraries and educational resources for children and schools. Members are preparing a new mission barrel to be sent to a local orphanage in Bondo.
