Hosted by the Ellicott City church, the Revelation Project aims to make the book of Revelation accessible to younger audiences.
Bruno Lourenco was installed as pastor of the Highland View church on the campus of Highland View Academy in Hagerstown, Maryland on July 3. The installation took place during the Sabbath worship service and was officiated by Jerry Lutz, president of Chesapeake Conference.
Lourenco recently graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University (Berrien Springs, Mich.). He previously served as a senior pastor in the Central Sul-Riograndense Conference in Brazil.
“My wife (Eline) and I are thrilled with the opportunity of serving at the Highland View church and community,” says Lourenco. “We’re thankful for the warm welcome we received from both the church and the Chesapeake Conference. We pray that our work here will be an important contribution to God’s Kingdom.”
