The theme for the weekend was “The Amazing Promise.”

Chesapeake Conference hosted its annual Adventurer Family Weekend from May 31 to June 2 at Mt. Aetna Retreat Center and Highland View Academy in Hagerstown, Maryland. The event drew over 600 attendees, celebrating the theme “The Amazing Promise.”

The keynote speaker, Anibal Santeliz, pastor of several Maryland Hispanic churches in the conference, delivered three impactful messages focusing on the promise of the Messiah, the Holy Spirit, and the Second Coming. His sermons inspired and uplifted the attendees, emphasizing hope and faith.

Throughout the weekend, music was led by Javier Scharon, pastor of the Dover First and Forest Grove churches in Delaware, along with his family. Their musical contributions added a fun and worshipful atmosphere to the main meetings.

The Adventurers camped and engaged in various activities, earning awards for their participation. Additionally, the weekend included a meaningful service project where Adventurers assembled activity kits for hospitalized children.

Chesapeake Conference’s Adventurer Family Weekend continues to be a significant event, bringing families together for spiritual growth, fellowship, and service.
