Chesapeake Conference Schools Mark End of 2022-23 School Year

Graduations were held on May 25 and 28.

More than 1,200 students officially started summer break as Chesapeake Conference schools concluded the 2022-23 academic year. This milestone was marked by graduation ceremonies, held on Thursday, May 25, and Sunday, May 28, honoring the hard work and dedication of the Class of 2023.

Chesapeake Conference operates 10 schools: Atholton Adventist Academy (Columbia, Md.), Baltimore White Marsh Adventist School, Dover First Christian School (Del.), Frederick Adventist Academy (Md.), Friendship Adventist School (Linthicum Heights, Md.), Highland View Academy (Hagerstown, Md.), Mt. Aetna Adventist School (Hagerstown, Md.), Rocky Knoll Adventist School (Martinsburg, W.Va.), Spencerville Adventist Academy (Md.), and Wilmington Junior Academy (Del.).

Janesta Walker, Chesapeake Conference superintendent of schools, lauded the efforts of students. “We are so proud of our graduates from both middle school and high school,” she said. “They have worked so hard to achieve this milestone in their lives. It is my prayer that each of them has learned to love Jesus more as a result of their time in our schools and that they will invite Him to walk beside them every step of the next portion of their journey and into eternity.”
