Chesapeake Says Farewell to Jennifer Stefan

Stefan has accepted a position in the Florida Conference.

Jennifer Stefan is leaving Chesapeake Conference after more than 20 years of service at the conference headquarters in Columbia, Md.

Stefan and her family are moving to Florida, where she will begin a new position as the benefits coordinator for the Florida Conference.

“It’s been an honor and blessing to serve God in Chesapeake for over 20 years,” Stefan says. “I will miss working with all of the amazing people God has placed in Chesapeake. The ‘great’ Chesapeake Conference will always be in my heart.”

Stefan began working at Chesapeake Conference in January 2002. During her time at the conference, she served in several departments, including trust services, evangelism, treasury, women’s ministries, communication, and secretariat. Most recently, Stefan served as the assistant director for human resources.

“Over her 20 years of denominational service in Chesapeake, Jenn was able to grow and thrive in whatever capacity and job responsibilities with which she was entrusted,” says Andre Hastick, Chesapeake Conference executive secretary. “Most recently, as assistant HR director, Jenn brought a dedicated work ethic and an informed understanding of Human Resources, which served our 500+ Chesapeake employees exceptionally well. We pray God’s richest blessings for her and her family during this time of transition.”
