The Communication Department concentrates on creating a positive reputation for the Adventist Church among non-members and creating a positive reputation for the Chesapeake Conference among members.

Our objective is to provide consistent, quality communication and support to pastors, teachers, and local church communication leaders through training, consulting, and information sharing. We use available media to keep members informed about news, information, and resources for effective ministry.

The Communication Department also coordinates public and media relations campaigns, strategic planning, and crisis management efforts.
