Bio

David has been a pastor, evangelist, and department director during his nearly 30 years of ministry. He currently serves as the Evangelism and Church Growth Director for the Chesapeake Conference in Columbia, Maryland, and speaker for the Forecasting Hope series, which airs on Christian television networks around the world, including 3ABN and the Hope Channel.  Previously, David served as the resident evangelist for the St Louis Metro area in the Iowa MissouriConference, where he worked with local churches in developing an effective cycle of evangelism. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Washington Adventist University, where he teaches a class on evangelism.

He has shared the keys to understanding Biblical prophecy across four continents and nearly 40 countries by taking complex Biblical revelation and simplifying it into easy-to-understand ideas.  Pastor David conducts training seminars for pastors and lay leaders in the areas of evangelism, principles of decision-making, soul-winning, and developing a culture of evangelism in the local church.  His favorite seminar is Uplifting Christ in the Doctrines, teaching people how to present the doctrines and prophecies in a Christ-centered, positive, and relational way.  His desire is to see a passionate, mission-minded, lay-driven church where each member is looking for opportunities to plant seeds for Jesus. David’s passionate style of speaking has engaged multi-cultural and inter-generational audiences across the world.

David has been married for nearly 30 years to his wife, Marquita, who is a women’s ministries and prayer ministries speaker. (See www.momentswithjesus.org)  They have two precious daughters, ages 20 and 17.

David loves traveling, hiking, spending time with his family, and he’s always ready for a good game of basketball.
