35 students signed up for baptismal classes.

Atholton Adventist Academy experienced meaningful spiritual rejuvenation during its week of prayer, held from Feb. 20-23. At the week’s conclusion, 35 students signed up for baptismal classes.

The week featured messages from Eddie Turner, a pastor and chaplain in Arizona. Turner serves as the associate pastor of the Glendale church and as a chaplain for Glenview Adventist Academy. He also serves as the pastor for the Maricopa Village church and school on the Gila River Reservation.

Turner presented messages under the themes “Fan or Follower?” for grades 8-12 and “The Legend of Jesus” for grades PreK-7. Beyond speaking during school chapel, Turner also spent time on campus each day, visiting classrooms and connecting with students, allowing him to tailor his messages to meet the specific spiritual needs of the students. His approachable manner and genuine interest in their lives made his messages even more resonant.
