Education Department Administrative Assistant Retires After 15 Years

Nancy Thomas is retiring after 15 years of service to the Chesapeake Conference as administrative assistant for the education department.

“Nancy has been such a blessing to the education department during her years of service to our conference,” says Janesta Walker, superintendent of schools for Chesapeake Conference. “Our educators could always count on cheerful assistance with any need they had when they called in to speak with her or when attending education meetings. Nancy has also been a wonderful support to me over the past four years. I have greatly appreciated her patience, dedication, support and professionalism. I will miss her tremendously.”

Nancy is looking forward to tending to her garden and spending more time with her husband, Dan, in retirement. The couple plans to continue living in the area.
