Over 230 leaders gathered for Children and Youth Leaders Enrichment Day on March 2.

Chesapeake Conference held its annual Children and Youth Leaders Enrichment Day on March 2, drawing over 230 ministry leaders from across the conference to Baltimore White Marsh Church for a day of connection, education and inspiration.

This specialized event, designed to bolster the capabilities of those serving in children and youth ministries at the local church level, offered an array of classes across seven different training tracks, including Pathfinders, Adventurers, Teen Leadership Training, and Children’s Ministries.

Participants had the opportunity to delve into a wide range of topics, all tailored to enhance their effectiveness. Highlighted classes included “Working with Children with Special Needs,” aimed at equipping leaders with the skills to inclusively serve all children; “How to Prepare Effective Creative Worships,” which offered innovative approaches to worship that engage younger audiences; and “Using Social Media in Your Ministry,” a course designed to help leaders navigate the digital landscape.

The annual Enrichment Day serves as a vital resource for ministry leaders, providing them with tools to support and grow their local ministries and connect with peers facing similar challenges and opportunities.
