Mission:
To encourage, inspire, and train pastors and laypeople for effective evangelism— provide helpful resources for churches, pastors, and laypeople, coordinate conference-wide evangelistic events, foster and promote a culture of church planting to reach the unentered areas, develop new ministries in the conference
Jesus promised that “this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). The Chesapeake Conference is committed to present the everlasting gospel of Revelation 14:6-12 and John 3:16 to everyone living in our part of the world so that we can see Jesus come soon.
The Evangelism Department helps accomplish this by partnering with Chesapeake Conference pastors and members to “go and make disciples” here in Chesapeake (Matthew 28:18-20). By providing training, resources, and coaching, the Evangelism Department is here to assist you in fulfilling the Gospel Commission.
Please contact us with any requests for soul-winning, witnessing, church growth, church planting, or any other evangelistic or disciple-making needs you may have. We are here to partner with you for growth.
