Learn how to prepare for disasters and respond with Adventist Community Services. Chesapeake Conference sponsors training, Sabbath, March 29, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 30, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the conference office located at 6600 Martin Road in Columbia, Maryland. Everyone with an interest in helping victims of disaster is welcome. Experts willdemonstrate how to set up collection and distribution centers that provideemergency goods. Those who complete the training will receive an AdventistCommunity Services-Disaster Response (ACS-DR) identification card and certification. The cost is $37 for the weekend.
