Highland View Church welcomes new pastor Kevin Walkowiak

Walkowiak was installed during the Sabbath service on Sept. 6

Highland View Church in Hagerstown, Md., welcomed Kevin Walkowiak as its new lead pastor during an installation service on Sept. 6.

Walkowiak comes to Chesapeake Conference from the Texas Conference, where he most recently served as lead pastor of the Burleson Church. He holds a Master of Divinity from Andrews University and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University).

“I am passionate about working alongside a body of people committed to knowing Jesus and making Him known,” Walkowiak said. “My desire is that people from all walks of life can find joy in His presence, peace in His power, and salvation in His sacrifice.”

Conference leaders joined the Highland View congregation in welcoming Walkowiak and affirming his ministry as he begins his new role in Western Maryland.
