Hispanic Ministries hosts couples retreat with New Jersey Conference

“Better With You” was the theme of the weekend

Chesapeake Conference Hispanic Ministries partnered with the New Jersey Conference to host the 2025 Couples’ Retreat from Aug. 1–3 at the Embassy Suites in Piscataway, N.J. Themed “Better With You,” the weekend brought couples together for a time of spiritual renewal, prayer, and fellowship.

The event featured guest speakers Esther Tavárez and Orlando Cruz, along with Pastor Abdiel del Toro, who led sessions and devotionals designed to strengthen marriages through Christ-centered love and commitment. Activities included inspiring teachings, group activities, and special moments of worship and reflection.

Attendees described the retreat as a joyful and uplifting experience, and leaders are already encouraging couples to plan on attending the 2026 retreat.
