Large Church Senior Pastors Gather for Annual EntreLeadership Summit

Senior pastors of the Chesapeake Conference’s largest churches meet for peer learning and leadership development

Senior pastors from the Chesapeake Conference’s largest churches gathered May 18–20 for the annual EntreLeadership Summit, a three-day event designed to foster peer learning, leadership development, and fellowship among the conference’s top church leaders.

The summit, held once a year over three days, brought together four to five senior pastors in an intimate setting that allows for candid conversation and shared discovery. Participants engaged with leadership principles drawn from the EntreLeadership framework, exploring practical tools for organizational growth, team development, and strategic vision.

Beyond the structured content, pastors valued the opportunity to connect with colleagues who share similar leadership challenges. The gathering creates a rare space for senior leaders to learn from one another and be refreshed by the fellowship of peers who understand the unique demands of shepherding a large congregation.

The annual summit reflects the Chesapeake Conference’s commitment to investing in the ongoing development of its pastoral leadership, equipping senior pastors to lead their churches with greater clarity, intention, and effectiveness.
