Living Word Church holds spring evangelistic series for Pentecost 2025

The week-long series covered the book of Daniel.

Living Word Church in Glen Burnie, Md., recently hosted a week-long spring evangelistic series from April 12–19 as part of the Pentecost 2025 initiative. The series, titled “Revealing Hope,” explored the entire book of Daniel and attracted a strong attendance of church members and community guests.

The series speaker was Living Word Pastor Jeff Kern, who guided attendees through key themes of prophecy, hope, and God’s faithfulness. The event resulted in at least one individual making a decision for baptism.

The church is committed to an annual cycle of evangelism, including two proclamation series each year—one in the spring and another in the fall. In addition to these series, the congregation has recently put more emphasis on using the weekly worship service as a tool for evangelism, focusing on creating high-quality, seeker-friendly services that offer a safe space for guests exploring faith.

Living Word Church is also part of the Reach Baltimore 2025 initiative, which aligns with Chesapeake Conference’s mission to share the Three Angels’ Messages throughout the region.
