  • News

Registration for Chesapeake Conference’s 2024 Camp Meeting is now open.

Pastor Mark Finley will serve as the featured speaker for Chesapeake Conference’s 2024 Camp Meeting, set to unfold from June 11-15 at Highland View Academy in Hagerstown, Md. This year’s gathering, themed “Revelation of Hope: God’s Plan for Living Free,” aims to offer attendees a meaningful week of spiritual renewal and community fellowship.

Finley is an international speaker and evangelist renowned for his dynamic and relevant messages. Attendees can look forward to daily sessions with Finley, focusing on experiencing hope and freedom through faith. Finley’s wife, Teenie, will also lead a seminar series on health and nutrition, providing practical tips for living a healthier life in harmony with spiritual well-being.

New this year, Chesapeake Conference has arranged for a life-size model of the biblical Sanctuary to be on display, provided by Messiah’s Mansion. This unique feature promises to bring Scripture to life, offering attendees a tangible way to understand the rich imagery of the Sanctuary services and how they explain God’s plan of salvation.

Additional highlights will include programs designed to engage children and teens through dynamic activities tailored to their specific age groups and a range of seminar classes for adults on the Bible and personal spirituality.

Andre Hastick, Chesapeake Conference executive secretary and Camp Meeting coordinator, expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s event: “With our featured speaker, Elder Mark Finley, along with seminars, special features and outreach efforts in the community, this year’s camp meeting will prove to be a very special experience for our conference. For every member who attends, it adds a unique chapter to our shared story of faith and fellowship. We look forward to the Lord blessing us all during a full week of focus on spiritual inspiration and mission.”

Information on registering for lodging, meals and children’s, youth, and young adult programming is available on the conference’s website at ccosda.org/campmeeting.
