Melvin Donadelle Joins Communication Team as Assistant Director
Donadelle will expand Chesapeake’s capabilities in photography and video production.

Melvin Donadelle began his new responsibilities as assistant communication director for Chesapeake Conference on Monday.
Donadelle holds a degree in journalism from Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University) in Takoma Park, Md, and brings nearly two decades of experience in photography and video production.
“Melvin is well-suited to help Chesapeake Conference effectively tell the story of what God is doing in our churches and schools,” says Evan Knott, Chesapeake communication director. “Melvin’s technical expertise will greatly expand our conference’s communication capabilities and will be a major resource for our churches.”
Donadelle’s previous experience includes running a private media company that has worked with clients such as the North American Division, Columbia Union, New Jersey Conference, and many local churches. He also previously worked at Lifetouch Church Photography, taking portrait pictures for church directories.
In addition to his love for media production, Donadelle is passionate about mission, having served as a missionary in South Korea for over six years.
“One of my dreams since college was to be able to do media production full time for the Church, and God has now provided the opportunity,” says Donadelle. “I look forward to sharing God’s love through media to inspire and encourage others and uplift and praise the Lord.”
Donadelle is married to his wife, Sun Rea. In their spare time, they like playing musical instruments and exploring nature.
