Piersanti will be installed at Ellicott City Church on Dec. 15.
Moreno Begins New Role at Seaford Spanish Church
The installation was attended by a packed church.

The Seaford Spanish church in Delaware recently welcomed Javier Moreno as its new pastor. Moreno, who previously served as an associate pastor at the church, was officially installed in his new role during the congregation’s worship service on Jan. 7. The installation was led by Eli Rojas, Chesapeake Conference ministerial director, who also led the congregation in a dedicatory prayer.
Moreno will continue to lead several other Hispanic congregations on the Eastern Shore, including the Chesapeake Georgetown (Md.), Milford (Del.) Spanish, and Cambridge (Md.) Spanish churches.
According to Rojas, members of the Seaford Spanish church were excited to welcome Moreno to his new position. “We had a packed church, and people were excited for the opportunity,” he said.
Moreno served as a Bible worker at the Baltimore Spanish church before starting his role in his current district last April. He is passionate about outreach and aims to grow the district through personal evangelism and community service.
