Reach Baltimore 2025 rally inspires prayer and mission

Pastor John Bradshaw delivers message as leaders call for prayer and action

Church members from Chesapeake and Allegheny East conferences gathered at Liberty Church in Windsor Mill, Md., for the year’s first Reach Baltimore 2025 rally. This joint initiative, a collaboration between the two conferences and It Is Written, aims to bring spiritual revival to the Baltimore area through a series of outreach and evangelistic projects, culminating in a major proclamation series this October.

The Sabbath afternoon rally featured a stirring message from John Bradshaw, president of It Is Written, who encouraged members to seek the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and embrace their mission to reach Maryland’s largest city. Bradshaw, along with G. Alexander Bryant, president of the North American Division, will co-present the main Baltimore area English meetings this fall at Goucher College.

Leaders from both conferences provided updates on the initiative, including the mailing of 75,000 Bible study invitation cards to Baltimore area zip codes in January, with a second mailing planned for March. These cards are designed to generate leads for recently hired Bible workers, who will collaborate with local churches to prepare individuals to attend the series this fall.

The rally also highlighted plans for an Amen health clinic during the last week of September. The clinic will offer free medical and dental care to underserved communities, with support from medical professionals and volunteers across the North American Division.

In addition to receiving updates, attendees gathered in groups to pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, uniting in their shared mission to share the gospel.

“This event reminded us that the time is now,” said David Klinedinst, Chesapeake Conference Evangelism and Church Growth director. “We’re here in 2025, and there are incredible opportunities for members to serve and share Christ with others.”
