  • News

Alfalah was installed as the church’s new pastor on Oct. 7.

Members of the Willow Brook church in Boonsboro, Md., recently welcomed Lou Alfalah as their new pastor during the congregation’s worship service on Oct. 7.

Alfalah comes to the congregation from the Iowa-Missouri Conference, where he most recently pastored the Sunnydale (Centralia, Mo.) church.

“Pastor Alfalah’s broad pastoral experience, his unique background, and personal testimony, will be a great blessing to the Willow Brook Church family and community,” said Jerry Lutz, Chesapeake Conference president. “The Alfalahs’ love for the Lord and His people is made evident by their gift of hospitality and their enjoyment of fellowship and sharing good food with church members and guests alike.”

Alfalah is eager to get started. “I am excited to grow closer to my new church family here at Willow Brook and advance the cause of Christ,” he said. “The Lord has also brought me here to grow me, to shape my heart like His.”

Alfalah has been married to his wife, Donna, for 12 years. Their son, Jonah, is a second grader at Mt. Aetna Adventist School.
