Wilson de Leon Begins Ministry in New District
De Leon brings experience and passion for evangelism to new pastoral role.

Wilson de Leon has been officially installed as the new pastor of a district of four Hispanic churches in the Baltimore area. The churches, which include the Dundalk, La Esperanza, El Eden, and Highlandtown Spanish churches, welcomed their new pastor during services held at the congregations on Jan. 7 and Jan. 14.
Orlando Rosales, Chesapeake Conference Hispanic Ministries director, introduced De Leon to the congregations and led members in praying for their new pastor. Rosales reports that the congregations warmly received De Leon and his wife, Kenia, who recently started her tenure as the Youth and Young Adult Ministries director for Chesapeake Conference.
De Leon has served in the conference since 2020 as a Bible worker for the Columbia (Md.) II Pacto de Amor Spanish group. He is passionate about evangelism, preaching, and church growth and looks forward to getting to know his new churches.
